RUGE
Borja Llobregat & Ostap Yashchuk
Edition of 150
PROGRESSO ARCHIVE – 006
In 2018, Borja Llobregat and Ostap Yashchuk embarked on a transformative journey, converting a vacant warehouse into RUGE, a DIY photo studio fueled by ingenuity and YouTube tutorials.
Their studio, lacking a blueprint, evolved daily, between a cozy home and a professional workspace, attracting both mainstream clients and fostering a vibrant creative community in Madrid.
Despite their success, plans to extend their lease were dashed when the building owner sold the premises to an investment firm, forcing Borja and Ostap to confront the impending departure of RUGE.
In response, they embarked on a mission to preserve RUGE’s essence, meticulously photographing every corner of the studio, capturing its spirit in a book that serves as both an archive.
Their story underscores the dynamic nature of creative spaces, emphasizing the importance of adaptation and resilience in the face of uncertainty.
Through their documentation, RUGE’s legacy transcends its physical confines, offering a timeless glimpse into the heart and soul of a space that forever shaped Madrid’s creative landscape.

STILLZ
Edition of 500
PROGRESSO DISTRIBUTION (EU)
“su·ti·ru·zu” is a visual diary documenting the journeys of filmmaker and photographer STILLZ in Japan. Titled after the phonetic pronunciation of “STILLZ” in Katakana, the book offers an intimate exploration of his relationship with the country, which he has frequently visited since the age of sixteen. Through a series of dynamic photographs —both digital and analogue— this first edition presents an eclectic mix of bold, youth-driven energy, friendships, eccentric characters, serene natural landscapes, and a recurring fascination with cars; capturing everything from the rush of Shinjuku’s streets to the stillness of Mount Fuji.
Organized around STILLZ’s trips between 2020 and 2024, this photo-chronicle gives a glimpse into the author’s travel memories, seen through his unique raw perspective. Across the pages, these memories blend with appearances from music icons like Rosalía, Yuki Chiba, Bad Bunny, Mora, or Arca, reflecting the artist’s strong and evolving connection to contemporary culture. In essence, the publication unfolds like a collage, piecing together fragments from STILLZ’s japanese experience and revealing the fleeting beauty of a country that continues to inspire him.

The Social Life of Ghosts
Marria Pratts
Edition of 200
PROGRESSO ARCHIVE – 001
The artist’s book "The Social Life of Ghosts" by Marria Pratts features more than one hundred drawings. With this repertoire, Marria appears to uphold the relevancy of drawing. And despite, or indeed thanks to, its modesty and the simplicity of its execution, reasons for which it is often not a respected medium, Marria rejects such market categorizations.
These works are not minor nor are they preparatory. Neither are they so as standalone pieces, nor are they so as the sequential narrative they form after being selected, organised and presented as a collection in this publication. In the same way she does in her huge paintings or neon brushes, Marria once again demonstrates a willful and affectionate pursuit of insistency, never-ending purpose and an opening up of the world. In both form and content, the artist gifts us a unique reflection of the radical experience of liminality and alienation that still surrounds us and that is so lonely and, at the same time, so collective.
